HALL OF FAME NOMINATION
Deadline: October 9

The Alabama State Association Hall of Fame recognizes and honors Sorors
whose sustained commitment, exemplary service, leadership, and dedication have
made a significant and lasting contribution to Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated
in local, state, and regional positions.
Induction into the Alabama State Association Hall of Fame is a distinguished
honor reserved for Sorors who have demonstrated a legacy of service and
commitment to the principles, programs, and advancement of our beloved
Sisterhood.


NOMINATION CRITERIA
To be considered for induction into the Alabama State Association Hall of Fame,
the nominee must meet the following criteria:
1. Length of Membership
The nominee must have been an active member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority,
Incorporated for a minimum of ten (10) years.
2. Exemplary Service
The nominee must have demonstrated exemplary and distinguished service to
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated.
3. Letters of Recommendation
The nomination packet must include three (3) letters of recommendation from
community leaders, along with a recommendation from the nominee's local
chapter.
4. Chapter Recommendation and Financial Status
The nominee must be recommended by her local chapter and must be financial
on all required levels of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated.
5. Posthumous Nominations
Sorors of distinction who are deceased may be nominated and considered for
posthumous induction into the Alabama State Association Hall of Fame.


RULES AND ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
All nominations must comply with the following requirements:
1. Nomination Application
The Alabama State Association Awards Nomination Application and Cover Page must be completed and submitted by the
established deadline.
2. Chapter Nomination Limit
Each chapter may nominate only one (1) Soror per year for induction into the Alabama State Association Hall of Fame.
3. Chapter Basileus Verification
All nomination forms must be signed and verified by the Chapter Basileus.
4. Attendance and Participation
The nominee must provide evidence of attendance and participation at Boulé, Regional, and Alabama State Association
meetings, as well as evidence of regular attendance and active participation in local chapter meetings.
5. Supporting Documentation
All nomination materials must be typed and professionally prepared. Supporting documentation must not exceed five (6)
additional pages. Incomplete nomination packets, materials exceeding the established page limit, or nominations received after
the deadline may not be considered.

Friday, October 9, 2026 11:59 p.m. Central Standard Time (CST) All required applications, recommendations, verification, and
supporting documentation must be received by the deadline.
