Greetings Sorors!

 

We are excited for you to join us at the 2026 Alabama State Association Leadership Conference in Mobile, Alabama, as we gather to handle the business of the Zeta. The willingness to serve “Awesome Alabama” is greatly appreciated, and the 2026 Nominating Committee looks forward to featuring our future leaders. We ask that you read this document in its entirety before submitting a nomination packet for review. Nomination packages must be submitted by Friday, September 18, 2026, by 11:59 p.m.

 

The offices open for election during the 2026 ASA Leadership Conference are:

•  State Director

•  Chair of the Executive Board

•  Grammateus

•  Tamias Grammateus

•  Undergraduate Member-At-Large

•  Members of the Nominating Committee (two positions)

 

Nomination Guidelines

Candidates who miss the submission deadline or submit an incomplete Nomination Packet will not be considered during the initial vetting process.

 

If a Candidate plans to run from the floor, they must submit a completed Nomination Packet during the meeting. All requirements outlined in the official packet, including all required signatures, via the provided QR Code, will need to be completed. DocuSign signatures will be accepted as valid and binding for all required documents within the Nomination Packet. The Google Form must be completed within 20 minutes following the close of the Business Session in which the Nominating Committee’s Report was given.

 

Please refer to the ASA Bylaws for detailed information on the duties and qualifications for each office. Vetted ASA candidates will be allowed to deliver a campaign speech, limited to two minutes. All photographs become the property of the Alabama State Association of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority.

 

To appear on the official ballot, all candidates must be:

• Registered Attendees

• Vetted by the Nominating Committee

• Present at the 2026 Alabama State Associates Leadership Conference
