The Life Member of the Year award is presented to a Life Member in the Alabama State Association to recognize the exceptional contributions given to Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. In considering the award of Life Member of the year, the nominee should have demonstrated significant, sustained, and high-quality service.

 

Please note the criteria for selection of this award:

1. Must be a Life Member to nominate.

2. Complete the ASA Awards Nomination Application and Cover Page by the October 9, 2026, deadline.

3. The Nominee must be:

• In good standing for Sorority Year 2026-27

• The Life Member must have been active in her chapter at least three consecutive years.

• Be registered at the 2026 ASA Leadership Conference

• The submitted narrative, signed by an ASA Life Member, must describe the nominee’s contributions to the betterment of Zeta through Service and her promoting Zeta in her community.

4. Any ASA Life Member may nominate another ASA Life Member for consideration for this award if they both have been in good standing for the past three years.

5. Submission must include a letter of recommendation by a Life Member from the State of Alabama.
