COMMITTEE (Volunteers)  SIGN UP

Plans for the 2025 ASA Leadership Conference are underway, and planners seek volunteers to serve. The conference will be in Florence, Alabama, on November 13-15, 2025. Below are the available committees on which you may seek the opportunity to serve. Undergraduates are strongly encouraged to participate. The committee chairs will contact those who are selected no later than September 15, 2025.

You must be registered for 2025 ASA Leadership Conference.

​

AUDIT COMMITTEE: An internal audit shall be conducted annually by the state Audit Committee. The committee reviews the Tamias records and reports and makes recommendations based on report findings.

​

AWARDS COMMITTEE: Assists with the organization and dissemination of all awards.

​

ELECTIONS COMMITTEE: Presents the procedures for election of officers, conducts the election, and presents the results of the election to the body. Coordinates with the Nominations Chair to produce ballots.

​

PAGEANT COMMITTEE: Will assist the Pageant Coordinator with planning and execution.

​

RAPID RESPONSE COMMITTEE: Ensures healthy Conference attendees. Remains aware of attendees with health challenges. Exhibits willingness to provide emergency procedures if necessary, until emergency personnel arrive.

​

REGISTRATION COMMITTEE: Assists with the on-site process of disseminating Conference badges and materials. Packs Conference bags/materials if necessary. Mans Registration tables. Answers questions pertaining to Conference schedule.

​

SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE: The committee reviews and selects recipient(s) according to the criteria established by the State.

​

TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE: Members will assist the ASA IT Team as needed with conference planning and execution.

​

YEARBOOK COMMITTEE: (NEW): Co-editors (2) - these Sorors will work hand in hand to guide the yearbook to completion. They must be organized, timely, and approachable. They should have graphic design/photography experience and be good writers. Designers (3) - these Soror's will gather and input all information into the yearbook software. They should have experience with Canva and photography. The should be good writers and will work cooperatively with the editors.

ZETA SECURITY TEAM: Evaluates and implements the establishment of a safe environment during the Conference. Responsible for surveying vendor area, conference events and activities, and escorting dignitaries (if needed).
