Welcome to the Alabama
State web site. I am
a Golden Life Member of Alpha Sigma Zeta chapter in Birmingham, Alabama.
I became a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. in Spring 1981 through
Alpha Delta chapter. During my years of service, I have attended a total of
eight (8) Boule’conferences. Offices that I have held include: Basileus,
3rd Anti-Basileus, Corresponding Grammateus, Grammateus, Geographical Area
Tamias, Life Member Grammateus, Youth Coordinator, Amicae Coordinator and
President of the National Pan Hellenic Council in Birmingham, AL.
I have been married to Andre’ B. Marvray,
Sr. for 23 years. We have two children, Andre’, II who graduated from the
University of Florida in Gainesville, FL and Knikira Marie who is a
sophomore at Alabama State in Montgomery, AL. I work as a Technology
Instructor in my professional career. My hobbies are shopping for shoes and
listening to Contemporary Jazz.
I am extremely happy to serve as the Alabama
State Director and look forward to working with each of you in this
sorority year.
